Now live on the App Store · iOS

Film 3 videos in one take.

OpenLenz records with up to 3 cameras at once. Portrait for Reels, landscape for YouTube, and your pick of lens — all rolling together, all saved as separate videos. Shoot once, post everywhere.

Requires iOS 18.6 or later. Launch price of $9.99 for the first year is live right now.

How it works

Five taps to
three videos.

The whole flow, exactly as it looks in the app.

01
Add cameras.

Your phone has more than one. Tap to go from a single camera to two, to three — each one gets its own live preview, all framed before you roll.

02
Pick the format for each camera.

9:16 for Reels and TikTok. 16:9 for YouTube. Set it per camera, so one take covers every platform you post on.

03
Pick the lens for each camera.

13mm ultra-wide for the room, 24mm for the subject, 120mm for the detail. Each camera keeps its own lens — the wide and the close-up come out of the same moment.

04
Press record.

One button. Every camera rolls together, synced. No juggling takes, no re-performing the same moment three times.

05
Get 3 videos in your gallery.

Not a split screen. Three clean, separate files — each in its own format, each with its own lens — ready to edit and post.

Full control

Independent settings for each camera.

Every camera in your rig is its own camera. Set each one exactly how the shot needs it.

Getting started

From download to rolling.

OpenLenz is live on the App Store. Here's what the first sixty seconds look like.

Download and open

Grab OpenLenz from the App Store, allow camera and microphone access, and you're on the shooting screen. No account to create, no onboarding to sit through.

Build your rig

Pick up to three cameras and set each one independently — lens, format, focus, exposure. Your setup is remembered the next time you open the app.

Record once, get three files

One tap starts every camera together. When you stop, three separate videos land in your camera roll, ready to drop into any editor.

The team

Built by creators,
for creators.

OpenLenz exists because we got tired of re-shooting the same moment for every platform.

Questions

Asked and answered.

Is OpenLenz available yet?
Yes — OpenLenz is live on the App Store for iOS right now. Download it, open it, and you're shooting.
Who gets the $9.99 launch price?
Everyone who subscribes during the launch window — no codes, no conditions. It's $9.99 for your first year instead of $19.99, and it renews at the standard price after that unless you cancel.
Is it a subscription or a one-time purchase?
A subscription. The app itself is free to download; OpenLenz Pro unlocks everything as an auto-renewing subscription — $9.99 for the first year at the launch price, then $19.99/year, or $4.99/month. Apple charges your Apple Account and renews automatically unless you turn off auto-renew at least 24 hours before the period ends. You can cancel anytime in your Apple Account settings.
Do I get three separate videos, or one split-screen file?
Three clean, separate files in your gallery — each with the format and lens you set for that camera. Ready to drop into any editor.
Which iPhones are supported?
OpenLenz requires iOS 18.6 or later, which runs on every iPhone released since 2018: iPhone XS, XS Max, and XR; both iPhone SE models (2020 and 2022); and every iPhone 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 — including the 16e — and 17 model, plus the iPhone Air. If your iPhone runs iOS 18.6, it runs OpenLenz.
My iPhone only has two rear lenses — can I still shoot with three cameras?
Yes. A camera in OpenLenz is a lens plus a format, not just a lens. Run the same lens as two cameras — one in 9:16, one in 16:9 — and put your second lens on the third, in whichever format you want. Two lenses is plenty for a full three-camera rig.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. OpenLenz is iOS-only for now. Android is on the roadmap — email us at contact@openlenz.app and we'll let you know when it lands.
